This was the congregations's second building, located at the northwest corner of Gibbs and Grove Streets.
The first building, which was built in 1894, caught fire in 1909.
This building was built by A. Frienderich & Sons and rededicated in 1910.
The Jewish congregation moved to Brighton in 1962 and this building was razed for a parking lot.
