Stromberg-Carlson Co.

This was the original Stromberg-Carlson office building and factory at the corner of University Avenue and Culver Road. I've included a postcard from 1906 so you can see how it originally looked. The left gatepost of the main entrance gate still exists, with its decorative ball post cap and smaller arched pedestrian entryway (see photo). The right gatepost and wall have been demolished along with the front half of the attached factory building. The two remaining factory buildings in the rear still exist and have been repurposed. Stromberg-Carlson later moved to a new facility on Carlson Road.
