A Friederich & Sons built several of the original Bausch & Lomb factory buildings on the West side of St. Paul Street.
This included a major section along what is now Bausch Street, in 1900, and an additional building in 1906.
Although the original 1900 building was demolished and is now a parking lot, a portion of the foundation walls still remain.
In addition, Factory Building No. 7, which was the last building added to the original complex, still exists and has been repurposed.
